Characteristics of SELENSPANDEX elastic fiber |
¡¡¡¡"SELENSPANDEX"researched and
developed by us is a kind of elastic fiber (spandex) produced through
melt cross-linking reaction spinning. Comparing to dry spinning, its
materials and manufacture are different, and its application is specific.
1. Soft material
¡¡¡¡This kind of fiber can be applied to high-speed weaving by flexible
and fine gauge weaving machine. The material is soft, that accords
with high-speed weaving and can meet the requirements by thin and
fine fabrics.
2. Long-time hold facility
¡¡¡¡Micro-hole will appear on the surface of the fiber produced by dry/wet
spinning due to evaporation of solvent, and then its surface area
increases. Thus the deterioration will accelerate as the fiber more
contact with daylight¡¢various gas and medication. However, there is
no appearance of micro-hole on the surface of the fiber produced by
melt spinning, and the surface area of its circular fracture is smallest,
the deterioration only start after a long- time period, so it has
good hold facility.
3. Single fiber has good homogeneity
¡¡¡¡By dry/wet spinning, the efficiency will be affected by the evaporation
of solvent, so several fibers should be used together; and by melt
spinning, there is no the evaporation of solvent, single fiber is
used, so the product has good homogeneity.
4. Well heat setting
¡¡¡¡Through melt cross-linking reaction, heat endurance of the fiber
will strengthen (it can bear the high temperature of 130¡æ, so its
application is wide. And due to its special heat settability, the
size can be fixed when downstream processing the fabric, and the size
will be well stable. So the fiber can be used for the products that
have strict requirements on the size. In addition to, the fiber has
low temperature settability, and the temperature of dry heat setting
can reach 190¡æ.
