| ST100 is known as a new type of bicomponent
elastic yarn, featuring permanent spiral crimpness,excellent bulkiness,
elasticity and elastic recovery as well as extremely soft hand feel
and outstanding color fastness. Compared with traditional elastic
yarn of spandex,ST100 has overcome defects of spandex yarn in respects
of high temperature, alkaline and chlorine resistant. For instance,when
spandex yarn is used to produce denim fabric,core-covered spandex
yarn frequently suffers from breakage through weaving, dyeing,setting,soda
washing and sanding.Its fabric often encounters problems of uneven
weft shrinkage. While in case of ST100 for replacement on above occasion,customer
can be completely free from worries about such problems. |

| Application requirement |
When use of ST100 elastic yarn,pay close
heed to deforming tension at knitting or weaving.Presetting must be
performed before dyeing to embody elasticity of ST100.After-process
shall be knitting or weaving¡úpresetting¡údyeing¡úfinishing.
1.Knitting or weaving
ST100 can be used for knitting or weaving.Twill weave is most preferable
in case of weaving.If plain weave is adopted, alternate up-and-down
structure must be avoided. Relatively loose structure is beneficial
to adequate show of ST100 elasticity. For ST100 bicomponent yarn,deforming
tension for 1 denier is approximately 1.48g.During knitting or weaving,
teaving.tension of ST100 shall be controlled less than 0.8 times of
deforming tension.
Twistless ST100 shows best application.Higher twist would decrease
elasticity. In case of twisting,presetting temperature of steam chest
shall be controlled at apprx.75¡æ.
2.Presetting
After ST100 is knitted or woven,prior to dyeing,it shall be preset
in relaxed conditions. Presetting is performed by boiling in 100¡æ
water for 15minutes.Over-large tension can not be applied to the fabric
during the process in case that its elasticity can not be fully embodied.
3.Dyeing
ST100 is dyed with disperse dye with dyeing temperature from 115¡æ-125¡æ.Temperature
rise is slightly slower than PET. Heat setting temperature of its
fabric is controlled within 140¡æ-160¡æ,30 seconds for the sake of maintaining
fabric elasticity.
4.Finishing
ST100 can be processed by means of ordinary caustic treatment,softening
and sand washing,etc.. |
